Scott Brooks Joins GHB for Community Celebration
June, 2005
The Boys welcome Scott Brooks (Right) to the stage at Williamstown
Each year the First Baptist Church of Williamstown, WV sponsors a wonderful community event in the city park. There are huge inflatable amusements for the children, a wonderful antique car show for the adults, and a concert stage that stays busy all afternoon with a cadre of performers and styles of music ranging from 50's pop tunes to Southern and Contemporary Gospel. Music pastor, Jonathan Caldwell, invited the Gospel Harmony Boys to participate in the event this year and we enjoyed an afternoon of sun, fun, food and fellowship. It was truly nice to see Jonathan and Jamie's mom again after so many years too. She's a beautiful lady who has the distinction of successfully raising two very talented, God loving sons.
We were exceptionally proud of the great job that Scott Brooks of Oceana, WV did singing the lead for Brother Dale in Williamstown. Scott is an extraordinary talent who traveled with the Crossmen for many years and now participates actively in his home church. Our thanks are extended to Scott who has worked diligently with us during Dale's absence and our search for a lead singer. In recent months, he has become just one of the Boys, as he and his family have made numerous sacrifices in order to be of service to our ministry. Scott, we truly appreciate you, your talent and your dedication.
