Producer Mike Bloomfield preps the Boys for upcoming recording
The GHB have been working diligently in preparation for a new recording that will feature some wonderful old songs as well as new material that came straight out of the top drawer. In recent months, God has provided us the opportunity and the pleasure of working with some terrifically talented and encouraging musicians to select and arrange the songs for this recording. "Casting The Net" was the theme of the West Virginia Southern Baptist Conference On Evangelism, April 6-7. At the Thursday evening session, The Gospel Harmony Boys presented a concert, followed by the key note speaker, Dr. Jerry Falwell. Dr. Falwell used his life experiences to personalize his message to a capacity crowd in the main sanctuary of the Cross Lanes Baptist Church, in Cross Lanes, WV. Dr. Falwell emphasized that: "We are limited only by two things: Our faith, and our willingness to work." He stressed the importance of strong local churches. He compared Lynchburg to Charleston, WV (just outside of Cross Lanes), and pointed out that, with today's technology, any church can "reach out to the world".
The Conference was a tremendous success. Representatives from all over West Virginia participated. And, most importantly, at the close of the conference, attendees visited local homes, "Casting the Net" door to door. Forty-three souls were saved. Praise the Lord!

As a reminder, we have revived some of our classic recordings for a new generation on CD! This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy some of our finest material once again. We believe these recordings are as fresh and powerful today as they were when we first released them. These CD's are all digitally remastered from the best available sources, and include the original album art.
We've started the Classic CD Series off with three favorites, "Presenting...", which was a collaboration with The Cathedrals and The Mariners back in 1965. It's a fantastic recording you're sure to treasure. Then, we have 1976's album, "Our Tribute to God and Country" and "Grow Closer", from 1977, both two of our favorites, and we're sure you will enjoy them, too. You can sample these new CD's in our online GHB Shop.
We've made online purchases easier, by adopting PayPal, a secure, popular method for shopping at your computer terminal. We hope this new feature is helpful to you.
Until next time, God Bless
