So much has been going on in the past few months with The Harmony Boys, it's hard to know where to start. Let's begin by breaking some pretty important news: we're releasing the title cut to our newest album, "I Believe", to radio stations nationwide! We're very excited about this song, and its national exposure. Preliminary feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we're trusting God for great things as it ministers to millions and increases our outreach.
Please pray that this effort will be fruitful, accomplishing all it can. You can help us in this endeavor by calling your local gospel stations and requesting our song, "I Believe". And, if it ministers to you, call them again as many times as you will! The more air time we receive, the better for our ministry. Here's the announcement. Our new home away from home
Well, we went and did it! You're looking at our new home away from home, which we were blessed to purchase from the Carolina Royals Quartet in North Carolina. We've traveled the countryside in a conversion van and trailer for so long, and the tours are getting more distant, so we decided we needed a little stretch room, especially on those long hauls coming up. We'll be outfitting it to our own tastes for awhile, but she runs, and we intend to run her! We hope our Eagle will be landing somewhere near you soon.
Harold Lane was not chosen for this year's SGM Hall of Fame, but we intend to keep campaigning for him this year. Here's a link for you to visit for future updates. You can still click here to add your name to those who would love to see Harold inducted to the "Hall".
The Gospel Barn in Hillsdale MI is one of our favorite places to sing. We always have a great time there with our many friends, and they recently hosted our 55th anniversary sing on May 26. We were joined by Asbury Adkins, Homer Fry, and Dale Chambers. Vince Owens also went along on this trip to play some piano for us. Plus, we had Clacy and Calvin's wives along for the ride, and our great friend Steve Stanley. What a great time we had! Thank you, Scott Wiley and The Gospel Barn. We love you guys!
Our next reunion sing this year will be September 1 in Stoutsville, OH, at the United Methodist Campgrounds. We hope to see many of you there.
By the way, we've put together a very nice commemorative album to mark our 55th anniversary. Even if you can't make one of our reunion sings, you can pick up a copy of the book here. It's filled with old photos from our past, and we're sure you'll enjoy it.
